บทคัดย่อ

The research on management of cultural heritage in religious and sacred place to study problems on cultural heritage management in religious complexes in Thailand. They have been considered important source for study of Thai history, art, an culture since in the past. They are cultural heritage of the nation which need to be preserved and taken care of. However, nowadays, several cultural heritage or historical sits are lacked corrected preservation methods based on academic knowledge. They often are neglected by persons who have responsibility on religious complexes where these historical buildings were placed. Cultural heritage buildings or sites are thus decreased their value and importance. This research aims to analyse causes of problems at cultural heritage sites and provide solutions to preserve the sites. The principal causes come from persons who have responsibility on these historical sites lack knowledge on history of the site and understanding the history thoroughly. They lead them to remove historical buildings or add new construction over historical buildings without permission from the Fine Art Department or other authoritarian. The best solution is all sectors who associate with historical sites should help each other to take care the sites and provide knowledge to people. Specialists should also have opportunity to manage and preserve historical sites.
