บทคัดย่อ
The Lanna medicinal plant textbook and Lanna medicinal plant recipes were collected, translated, screened and recorded in Thai/Lanna Medicinal Plant Recipe Database, LMPRD Manosroi ??. The selection of the recipes were based on the maximum frequency of the medicinal plants appeared. The recipes were prepared as described which mostly, by hot water extraction. They were tested for anti-oxidative, protein/carbohydrate content and anti-inflammatory activities. The medicinal plant recipes for dietary supplement and energizer were selected and extracted by cold extract (CE), hot extract (HE) and blender extract (BE). The highest % yield of the dietary supplement and energetic recipes were found in the Lampang 007-045/737 (CE) and the Lamphun 004-063/460 (HE) recipe of about 37.96% and 48.75%, respectively. The anti-oxidation study was performed by DPPH assay. The blender extracts of medicinal plant recipes for dietary supplement (7BE) demonstrated the highest anti-oxidation activity with 1/132.33 times of vitamin C, 1/36.09 times of vitamin E and 1/56.71 times of BHT. The blender extracts of medicinal plant recipes for energetic (6BE) also demonstrated the highest anti-oxidation activity with 1/22 times of vitamin C, 1/6 times of vitamin E and 1/9.43 times of BHT. The protein and carbohydrate content of the medicinal plant recipes for dietary supplement and energetic was performed by Biuret test and Dinitrosalicylic acid-UV spectrophotometry. The 7BE medicinal plant recipe for dietary supplement showed the highest amount of protein of 59.73%w/w and the 9CE medicinal plant recipe for energetic showed the highest amount of protein of 79.82%w/w. The highest amount of carbohydrate was found in the 2HE medicinal plant recipe for dietary supplement of 1.56%w/w and the 7BE medicinal plant recipe for energizer of 22.89%w/w. The anti-inflammatory activity of the extracts was performed by Hind Paw Edema comparing to the standard prednisolone acetate. The results demonstrated that the recipe Phrae 010-010/346 and Chiang Mai 017-036/717 exhibited potent anti-inflammatory activity. The 7BE medicinal plant recipe for dietary supplement and the 6BE medicinal plant recipe for energizer and the Lampang 007-045/896 anti-inflammatory including the single medicinal plant extracts were selected and formulated in tablet dosage form. The best formulation with the optimum hardness and minimum disintegration time of the medicinal plant recipe for anti-inflammatory, dietary supplement and energizer were determined. The stability test was performed at various temperatures (4, 25 and 45?C). The optimum temperature for collected the anti-inflammatory tablet was 4?C, whereas the dietary supplement and energetic tablet was 25?C. The in vivo toxicity study of the selected medicinal plant recipes demonstrated safety with no death of the test animals. The selected medicinal plant recipes/single plant extracts can be further developed to nutraceuticals and ant-inflammatory drug. \\
